Chappie’s verdict on www.voguecollege.com

Sucks a medium amount
“Chappie sees a fashion college website that forgot to dress up its own <img> tags.”
Chappie clicked in expecting glamour and got a WordPress site wearing last season's basics. The h1 is trying to do the job of three sentences and a tagline at once, which is very tired of itself. Chappie still thinks there's something nice buried in here, but it needs a proper stylist, not just a brand name doing all the work.
waking chappie…
Chappie reads the verdict out loud. He will laugh. It’s not personal. (It’s a little personal.)
- GLASS · design
- Eleven images and six have no alt text — even the visuals are too cool to introduce themselves properly.
- FORGE · engineering
- 96ms response is snappy, but seven scripts and 87KB of HTML for a mostly-text landing page smells like WordPress bloat nobody trimmed.
- SKEPTIC · the copy
- The whole pitch leans on 'Vogue' as a magic word — accreditation, outcomes, tuition, career stats, none of it shows up, so it reads like a name-drop with a course catalog attached.
